  4. I've been to Foxconn factories. The suicide is due to their life insurance policies including suicide. So when you have like 500k labor on one college town size campus, someone will commit suicide to get out of a large debt of their family back home. They eventually stopped that and then finally the suicide wave stopped.

  5. Blood diamond, rare earth mined with child labor in Africa, etc. This is common. Anyhow, the logistics to move from coastal cities with major ports to rural muslim town almost bordering Afghan, will likely be more expensive. BTW, Chinese labor is no longer cheap, the cheap ones are in Vietnam now. We can't even prevent business owners hiring undocumented workers in the US, how do you think we can enforce that "slave labor" thing in China?
