A lot of majors should have been dropped because there is absolutely no jobs in the area, between going to a trade like plumbing or electricians vs going to college to get a social study degree for 150k over 4 years, I would rather go into a trade. Google knows, they started 25 years ago by hiring only top college grads and then realized it now that they just hire people who can interview for the job and take bootcamp graduates as well.

These statistics and studies never breakdown the majors, bundling medical, legal, engineering degree together with liberal arts and social studies then claim they make more than people who has no degree, again not breaking down the electricians, HVAC installers, general contractors, etc and say they make more than 1M extra in the lifetime. That 4 years of missing income plus student loan compound interest alone can easily be more than 1M over the lifetime.
