@rajgamer5058 India self reliant on food and still 101 on Hunger Index. We all know that people cannot eat wheat and rice alone and need oil, 70% of which is imported. If India exported 900 M, Ukraine exported 2.5 B worth of goods to India, 70% of which was edible oils, without which people do not have food.

@arc4055 India is self sustaining, but begging the world for edible oil. 70% of edible oil is imported in India. Nobody listens to India, not even Ukraine. May be your neighbour Pakistan will listen.

@arc4055 Indonesia has banned all exports of edible oils. You can boast, but your government has begged and got one shipment from Ukraine already.

@rajgamer5058 Whatever trade alliance you have, you can only buy it from somebody who have it. Most countries have banned export of edible oil, just as India banned wheat export. Ukraine is getting enough funding and Ukraine's per capita income and quality of life is far better than India's

@rajgamer5058 India is not self sufficient even on pulses. It imports pulses and is on the verge of importing wheat too. 60% of oil requirement is huge considering India's population. Russia has banned edible oil exports. Do you think India does not have debt? It does not matter, what matters is people's living condition. Ukraine's per capita GDP even now is twice that of India and India is not going to reach that level soon.

@rajgamer5058 They have counter claims. India's import from China has increased by 40% last year, unless you tell me India and China are close friends and partners.

@asakurayoh3909 That is how it works for every country isn't it. India was asking for a ban on Chinese imports, but increased imports by 100% during Covid.

@rajgamer5058 Only people who does not have a clue of India's edible oil consumption will claim that Indian imports will come down to 15 to 20% now. Russia will extend the ban and India being the largest importer of edible oils will have to still source from Ukraine. Expectation is not reality. The current GDP despite the war is double that of India and with massive grants fro EU and US will not fall further. What about India that had a GDP of over 2100 per capita in 2019 and 1850 now? Indian economy had a greater fall of 23% than the Ukraine economy after the war.

@asakurayoh3909 India has not banned much is clearly evident from increase in imports in 2022. If India can trade with China and India can import from China, why not Pakistan.

@rajgamer5058 Per capita GDP of India in 2019 was 2100 USD per person. Pls search. World has suffered inflation this year for taking a principled stand. UK inflation is currently at 8.3% compared to Indian inflation at 7.1%. When you consider the inflation of the last 4 to 5 years, you can see the Inflation in India has been constantly high. The power of compounding is much higher than inflation in one year ie Inflation for 3 years close to 1 percent and one year at 10 % is much lower than the inflation close to 5% every year for last 4 years. Ukraine per capita income is far higher than India and the HDI is far ahead of India.

@rajgamer5058 India was one of the fastest declining economies also. How did the per capita GDP decrease from 2100 to 1900 in one of the fastest growing economies. We in Europe are not the fastest, but we have increased our per capita GDP. India was not the first to launch a satelite to Mars. US and Europe has landed space craft on Mars and you talk about launching a mars satelite. It is easy to learn from others mistakes when you are not leading from the front. US manned mission landed on moon in the first attempt. The first satelite to mars was launched in 1971. Nowadays even private companies launch mars satelites as the technology is widely known. So be humble than being proud. Every country in the world has achieved many things and nobody boasts about it unless you feel inferior.

@asakurayoh3909 India never stopped trading with Pakistan. Pakistan had only banned import of cotton and sugar from India. India was exporting other goods to Pakistan ( Source Govt of India), Pakistan is China's proxy. If there is no China, Pakistan will not even fight.

@rajgamer5058 There is nothing called a Mid year GDP. The total GDP is calculated after the end of the year. UK does not have 10.1. The latest CPI inflation is 8.8% based on CPI. It is the base that matters. India already had high inflation even before the war, so the change is less. UK had very low inflation, so percentage in higher. If you total across the years, India has much higher inflation. India is performing well is propoganda. Ukraine current per capita GDP is still double of India. India had a decline of -21% during Covid, the highest among all countries. So India is far behind what it was in the end of 2019.

@rajgamer5058 Who cares ISRO is among the top 10, even if somebody gives a certificate. A country is not measured by its space research, but by the standard of living of the country. Norway, Sweden, Finland etc do not spend any money on space missions, but ensure the people have good standard of living. You were not the first to reach Mars to make history. It was done half a century ago. The first person to climb everest created history and the rest followed based on knowledge what he gave them. India has not landed on Mars, while US and several European aircrafts have landed there. So it might be a great achievement for you, but not for the world.

@rajgamer5058 No They want to work with ISRO.ISRO is not India, just as NASA is not US. Doesn't ISRO also want to research with other space agencies and universities across the world ? Science works through international collaboration. Who gives a certificate it is the best, unless there is an official ranking.

@rajgamer5058 So what. NASA is funded by US govt. Similarly Covishield development was done in Oxford university fully funded by UK govt. ISRO got its first engines from Russia, Even the engines that goes in the current rockets are designed by france. NASA do not employ any Non US citizens. So your claim is false. It is false proud to say that they are coming to India to research. Most of the rocket technology have been developed by US and Russia and ISRO took technology transfer. Can ISRO claim first landing on moon, mars or the first satelite or the first rocket in the world.
