  9.  @ajitashenoy2018  Given to 10 crore people is no proof of its efficacy or safety. It is not a proof of anything. It needs to be tried on a sample monitored population and data provided. If 10 crore was the criteria, Coronil should have been approved. Medicines need to undergo a due process for certification.

Bharat Biotech is an incompetent company who could not even provide data to Indian authorities and has not made any data incompetent. Scientists work on the basis of science and not nationalism and scientists from all countries are equal. How many Indian scientists have won Nobel Prozes BTW?

  11.  @ajitashenoy2018  Nobody trusts Indian medical association. All vaccines go through multiple rounds of approval, WHO for exports and local regulator for used in country. Indian medical authorities will be more biased than WHO. If India govt do not trust why apply for approval.

  17.  @priyankareddy9128  WHO / or approving authorities do not approve vaccine based on one person providing data, but based large trials across multiple countries and provided the data. If WHO is acting under chinese pressure, why would it approbve Covishield and not Covaxin. 90% of Indians are vaccinated with Covishield.

  18.  @priyankareddy9128  Every vaccine that has been approved by WHO has been trialled in multiple countries before it has been approved. Trial is not the same as vaccinating 8.635 crores. Trial subjects are subject to multiple evaluation and are closely monitored. Efficacy is not the only criteria in approving a vaccine, but the safety also. This needs to be done at Trial stages and data provided by Bharat Biotech. Bharat Biotech was not able to provide the data on time to even Indian regulators and the data has not been made public. Without Public data avaialble on the trials, any claims on efficacy is just a line drawn in the water. If Bharat Biotech is such an efficient vaccine manufacturer, why did they delay data to Indian regulators and has only managed to manufacture 8.635 crores compared to SI who has manufactured 10 times this. As per Bharat Biotech claim Covaxin has 93.4% efficacy against severe Covid while published data from AZ shows Covishield has 100%.
