@nathanl3160 Why should anybody be triggered with one word?, be it Beef of Pork. Both yummy food. Why does the talk of god not trigger Atheists and they go on a rampage? If you have religious beliefs, keep it at home and don't expect others to follow. Beef was always eaten in India by all including Brahmins, till Budhism introduced Ahimsa.

@ayushpandey2628 India has the highest number of Cows! And they are never killed for Beef.

@ayushpandey2628 Agree that developed countries should be held accountable for green house emissions. However Russia also has one of the highest green house emissions. Agree that people should eat more responsibly, including food grown locally.

How about milk drinkers Fart?

@nathanl3160 Kumbhmela joint fart is the largest methane producing event on record.

@ayushpandey2628 India has the same number of cows to people, However much higher than EU, Mexico, China, Egypt etc. Even if you consider them as part of family, it produces Methane. Nobody would milk a family member or artificially impregnate them to produce more milk.

@ayushpandey2628 It is the same ratio per population as in US which has approximately 40 million cows.

@ayushpandey2628 Who watches Gravitas for news? If industry is the source of pollution, why onus on meat eaters and not milk drinkers. India had far less cows then compared to now. Also Indus valley civilisation ate cows. Do you believe Putin? Russia has one of the highest per capita carbonemissions and Pakistan one of the lowest.

@nathanl3160 They bath only once an year and drink milk and fart plenty. One kumbhmela is enough for a century.

@suyashawagh9496 That is why we leave them on the road to eat plastic once they do not produce milk.

@preethishetty6179 7% of Indians eat Beef.
1
@hellliyaho7626 Not everywhere. Only in the Cow belt.

@preethishetty6179 Kerala and Nrth east does not worship cows. I think, your definition of India is limited to some communities living in India. You will not make somebody work in the fields, if you worship them.

@preethishetty6179 Culture is not static and it keeps changing. Sati was also part of culture. Majority does not mean, it is the culture of the nation. Nobody in Kerala worships cows. Hindu tradition is not monolithic like Islam or Christianity.
