India does not have the market for high end EVs.

@savinirs998 China has a luxury car market that is 50 times that of India. Tesla looks for quality as the car that are made in China needs to meet strict EU regulations. Hardly any cars made in India meets EU regulations now.

@savinirs998 Let them. Tesla not interested in such low end market. Tesla already dominating west.

@trigger4o49 Tesla will not bring its cost below 30 lacs by compromising on quality. How come most high end cars manufactured in India that are not as advanced as Tesla sells at 25 lacs plus (Mahindra Alturaz etc..). Labour cost being lower is not the only criteria, but need to have productivity and quality also. Hardly any cars manufactured in India is European quality and can be sold in Europe.

@JeyAnirudhJekka India does not have the market for high end EVs. There are korean and Chinese EVs like MG more suitable for India.
