@alllivesmatter7213 Anecdotal experience or evidence is not what anybody should go by. Also don't know what you mean by minority. India only has citizens, not majority or minority.

@Aryabhata Value of Pi You don't have an option. Either believe in something without evidence and be religious or Believe is science. Science only believes based on Evidence unlike religions. After life is something mentioned in every religion.

@alllivesmatter7213 Yes Radicalisation is from those who follow the deranged ideology called religion coming from Asia. Government should not give any minority quota but treat everyone equal. One persons feeling is not historical data. It is perception. There is ample data in India pointing out how people are treated differently based on religion and caste, including what they eat.

@Aryabhata Value of Pi Nobody looks at religious texts for science. If he had quoted in his Thesis that he is quoting from Upanishads, it would not be accepted. Scienece needs hard evidence and not confusing statements in religious texts. And Neils Bohr was an Athiests BTW. His quotation on Upanishands had nothing to do with his science. When you build a rocket, you follow science, while some may break a coocnut, However the breaking of coconut does not make any difference . All religions do the same. Have herd similar things about Quran and Bible too.

@Aryabhata Value of Pi Nobody uses sushruta in modern medicine. This is the story that every religion wants to tell. It has been conclusively proven the book Vimanika shahstra has been written in 1970s and is not an old book. Just another attempt by some people to prove religion is scientific. I have no issue with people who say they are religious because they believe in it blindly, but issue with people who wants to validate religion through science.

@Aryabhata Value of Pi I have already donated my organs on death, better use than being buried or planting a tree. So many millions are amassed in Temples, Churches and Mosques while it can better be used to feed the needy.

@Aryabhata Value of Pi Past is Past and we have to live in todays world for the future. There is no point in glorifying the past where people's life expectancy was miniscule. The staue of Sushruta was donated by an Indian and all colleges accept donations from Alumni. Also there were many from all cultures including Chinese, Greek and Islamic who did surgery at that time and are widely recognised. It neither unique nor something to be gloriefied.

@Assimilation My Ass Yes. That is what you are doing in India. We in our country have majority Atheists and a few radical Islamists and Sanghis that is causing trouble. India and Pakistan have majorities who want to wipe out minorities.
