@ladylaurus8493 laws are laws, if you report a rape, then law enforcement still has to follow up on that and find proof. You don't get to just arrest people based off accusations. And if you really are the victim of rape, then you have nothing to worry about. There's no reason not to come forward.

Let's also not pretend like that's a partisan issue, democrats are just as guilty of that as Republicans. Abortion is not defense though, it's never defense. Even if the mother's life is at risk, you can still do an emergency delivery of the baby. And if the baby dies, that is not abortion. It's a death due to a risky but necessary procedure.

@rhymerlegend2717 I agree, and I understand the pro choice argument. I really do. These people are not pro choice though, they're pro abortion. Big difference. They do not see any moral wrong whatsoever with killing a baby. This is a completely reprehensible position. The only good argument for abortion is that it's awful, but sometimes it's less awful than the alternative. I don't agree with that argument, but I understand it. I cannot, and will not ever understand someone who thinks it's completely fine to kill an unborn baby, no moral implications whatsoever. These people are broken, they are completely defective, evil people. It's as simple as that.

There is no scenario where an abortion is necessary to save the mothers life. Even if she's going to die with the baby in her womb, you do an emergency delivery. If the baby isn't far enough along in development, they're probably going to die. But that's not an abortion, it's an emergency delivery that resulted in death. This is no more dangerous to the mother than an abortion.

@DriveInFreak yes, women die during labor sometimes. That has always been a problem, and probably always will be. But the mother dying isn't the explicit purpose of birth, it's just an unfortunate and rare side effect. The baby dying IS the explicit purpose of abortion, it's the only purpose. You're the one on the side of human suffering here, not me.

@xelasomar4614 pregnancy is a potential outcome of sex. If you have sex, you're consenting to a pregnancy, the same as every time you drive a car you might get in a wreck. Life has risks. You don't get to kill an unborn baby because you took a risk and it didn't work out for you. It's barbaric.

@soulknife20 lemme break it down for you, because you and I have enough history for you to know that I know you're a little slow. If you fire a gun, lawfully or not, and someone gets hurt, you're responsible for that. Even if you didn't intend to hurt them. If you have sex, whether you want to have a baby or not, and you get pregnant, you're responsible for that choice as well. This is called consistent principles. I know it's a foreign language to leftists and other mentally challenged people such as yourself, but this is how normal people view the world.

Yep. There was an unspoken agreement that we would let abortion be legal, even though everyone agrees that it's wrong. Some people just see it as the lesser of 2 evils. The left has completely broken that agreement, and are now completely fine with unrestricted abortions, even going so far as to encourage it. Their extremism brought this divide.
