@strongbone9471 I understand it fine, the mantra means that political power shouldn't be determined by financing, but by what the people actually want. And this video is quite literally saying "but it's ok when we do it, because we're right!" Which is exactly what everyone who uses financial influence thinks.

@greedo2660 you're operating under the presumption that they're "fighting" a justified battle. If they live somewhere that the overwhelming majority of people don't like their ideas (which is the overwhelming majority of the entire world, hardly anyone actually likes far left policies, you're just very noisy on the internet) then it's not justified at all for them to "fight" for that. The justified thing would be for them to leave normal people the hell alone and let them live how they want to live.

Even the "further left" European countries you're probably referencing actually have much more moderate policies on abortion and corporate taxes than the US.
