This is pathetic, love him or hate him, Trump's rallies are energetic as hell compared to basically any other political rally you're gonna find. People love him. I know leftists don't want to hear that, because you think everyone should be forced to agree with you, but they don't. Hate Trump if you want, but this is just pathetic cope, trying to pretend like people aren't having a great time at these rallies.

@Killjoy.Z I think the Floyd jokes are a little low brow too, but he was also a drug addict that overdosed while resisting arrest. Doesn't mean he should have died, but he brought it on himself. Babbitt didn't, she didn't break any laws that I'm aware of or that anyone has shown any legitimate evidence of. Her death was a real tragedy, that wasn't her fault. Leftists are sick fucks though, they enjoy the death of people who have political disagreements with them.

@mattmanyam Being in an angry mob isn't illegal, otherwise millions of BLM protesters should be facing charges. I guess the gallows and chanting could be construed as a direct call to action but you would have to prove intent and that they actually had functioning gallows. Which I doubt. Only thing there that could probably stick is breaking a window in, and that would just be a trespassing charge. Which btw, most of the people STILL being held for the Capitol riot are only being charged with. Are you seriously ok with American citizens being held in jail for over a year on trespassing charges? Just because you don't agree with their politics? Not a single person has been charged with insurrection, or sedition. Not one. You need to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you really want to support people being held in jail for over a year just because you don't like their politics. Because I don't. Same goes for BLM. I don't like their politics either but I don't want people held indefinitely just for protesting or trespassing, that's ridiculous, that's not a free country. If they broke a more serious law, then sure, give them a trial and see where it goes. But trespassing is not a serious charge. You need to reevaluate your entire life.

But then again, I can't really imagine having such a strong opinion about something I don't really care about. You're not gonna hear any strong opinions from me about ballet, or basketball. Because I don't care about that shit, and I don't know anything about it. It's just beyond my comprehension how these people can have such little knowledge about things and pretend to know it all. I would rather vote for DeSantis, and many other conservatives and libertarians are in the same boat. But I would vote for either over whatever bullshit sandwich the Democrats are serving. Just because you're in a cult doesn't mean everyone else is in a different cult.

@zoeherriot that's your opinion. But I like him, and a lot of other people do. He's a constitutionalist, he believes in letting Americans live as free Americans, he believes in states rights, and parents rights to raise their own children and know what they're being taught in school. I'm all aboard all of those things.

@Black Star well all politicians want power. That's why they're politicians. What makes you think he's any more than averagely driven in that way? He's one of the few governors that refused to instate hard covid lockdowns, he trusted his people to be responsible. And Florida did great with covid when you consider several factors that would warrant them having one of the highest death tolls, like an above average population density and the second highest concentration of elderly residents of any state. But they didn't. That doesn't sound like someone power hungry to me, at least not in an extraordinary way compared to other potential presidential candidates.
