I love how no matter how many prominent left leaning people call out the far left for how insane you've become, you all keep doubling down and insisting everyone else is crazy. And that list of who you think is crazy just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and the tiny faction of lunatics who agree with you keeps getting smaller..... And you still don't get it.

@watsonroadster3707 socialism or communism to put it as simply as possible. There's obviously more complexities than that, but if you're a socialist, you're far left. I don't think there's any intelligent argument against that.

@Fundamentally Unorthodox there's actually studies that show conservatives are more attractive than liberals and leftists. I know that sounds kinda goofy, because physical attraction is subjective, but when people from all sides of the political spectrum have been asked to rate pictures of random people, they consistently rated conservatives higher. Conservatives are also physically more healthy on average, and mentally, the further people go left on the spectrum the more likely they are to have at least one diagnosed mental disorder.

@mycosys if TMR and the majority of their viewers aren't far left, then give me an example of someone who is. Real question. I'm curious what you think far left looks like. Because even the left side of mainstream American politics thinks you're too far left.

@watsonroadster3707 nothing. But she's not far left, I don't think any reasonable person would make that claim. She's moderate left, she supports more socialist policies than a typical conservative, like progressive taxes and higher corporate taxes.

@watsonroadster3707 socialism is collective ownership, communism is the same thing but with more strict state enforcement. And it's not a dichotomy, virtually every single person in the entire world has views that side with both socialism and capitalism, taxes are socialism and there's not a lot of people who think there should be no taxes whatsoever, and earning a paycheck is capitalism, and there's not many people who think there should be no such thing as money. If you're on either of those extremes, you probably belong in an institution and not in society. There's people in society. That's why Tulsi is moderate left, because she supports more social policies than someone who's moderate right would support.

Socialism is wealth redistribution, capitalism is keeping what you earn. It's that simple. And no sensible person wants to dial it all the way down to 1 or all the way up to 10, the best answer is somewhere in the middle. But you far left psychopaths want it somewhere around 9 or 10, because you suck at life and all you want is to extract resources from people who work.
