@OhNotThat except people do travel here to have medical procedures, more than any other nation in the world. More procedures and more strict oversight means more mistakes. That's just how numbers work. Of course if you knew that numbers exist, you wouldn't be a leftist.

@RoiDsavoir why would they be enticed to serve the people in any scenario? At least with private business, they're still loosely tethered to the market. If you let the government run all of it, they have nothing holding them down, and they can charge you whatever the hell they feel like. That's already a huge problem, with as big as insurance companies are. They charge $50 for an Advil at hospitals, because it's not your money, it's insurance money. THATS why premiums are so high.
