If you had ever been useful enough that someone wanted you as an employee, then you would understand that work is a mutually beneficial contract. And if at any point you're not getting as much out as you're putting in, you're free to leave and go somewhere else. If that's not an option for you, then you're just not very useful and you should be grateful for the job you have.
