@fighttheevilrobots3417 it's not a religious issue. There's definitely a correlation, where most anti abortion advocates are Christian, but a lot of atheists are also anti abortion, such as myself. And a lot of pro abortion advocates are also christian. The majority of the country is Christian, less than 10% are atheist. To pretend like it's as simple as religious people being against and non religious people are for abortion is an ignorant oversimplification at best, and a dishonest attempt at manipulation at worst.

I don't think most people view it that way, I think most people just understand that while the law isn't perfect, and never will be, it's still necessary and probably the best objective measure we have to keep order in society. At least it's supposed to be objective, and when it's not, that's where the problems lie. It's certainly better than "the only truth is power" like many people on the left seem to think. That's an extremely dangerous line of reasoning, and the primary reason we have so much political tension.

@marioozzie that still makes the majority of Americans religious, even at your highest estimate. So my point still stands, abortion is not a religious issue. That's just a straw man dishonest people use to dismiss people who disagree with them as being somehow irrational.

@shanepurcell8116 that's not true at all, the views of the far left on abortion are the extreme minority, the majority of Americans are somewhere in the middle, they don't want an outright ban on abortion but also want limitations and see it as a moral wrong. People who want an outright ban are a minority, but a larger percentage than people who want completely unrestricted abortions. And overturning Roe doesn't even do that, it just gives states back the right to make their own legislation. Don't worry, you can still kill unborn babies in whatever leftist shithole you probably live in.

@marioozzie trying to justify abortion as though there are no moral implications is irrational, and sociopathic. I understand the position and arguments from both sides, but the far left is no longer "pro choice" they're pro abortion. That is an insane and disgusting position that nobody should ever hold, it's like being pro war, nobody should be pro war, but most people understand that sometimes it's necessary, and people have varying opinions about when and how often it's necessary. But it's never good thing, and it's never a moral good, war and abortion are both immoral, in all circumstances. If you don't agree with that statement, then you're a sociopath.

@melgibson7313 even most liberals used to agree that Roe was an unjust ruling. This was very widely agreed upon pretty much across the entire political spectrum. And you know this too, you're just lying, because leftists have no principles. All you care about is whatever it takes for your side to seize power, no matter how immoral or unethical the means are. Stop pretending. Everyone sees what you're doing. At least be honest and embrace your role as the villains.

You defend it by preventing them from getting into FG territory in the first place, or even better, preventing the game from getting so close they can win with a FG. It's part of the game. The only people who view that sort of thing as cheap or the easy way out are losers, who would unapologetically do the same thing if they had the opportunity.
