You can buy a packet of soup for pennies, you can buy enough rice and pasta and cheap sauce to sustain for weeks on just a few dollars. Not saying you'll be living the high life, but anyone in the US that can't afford to eat is just not budgeting right.

@whyisthomyorke I'm not the one crying for more handouts, I feed my family just fine, and my neighbor feeds his family just fine too. That's what life is outside of your liberal bubble. We're regular people who get by on working and actually providing value to our community. You should try it some time.
