@turgid_member8717 none at all? Someone can have an abortion at the end of the 3rd trimester, while the baby is completely viable, just changes her mind and decides nah, kill it. That's fine? Yes, I'm using an extreme example. But I want to see where you draw the line, and why.

@gnomechomsky2524 well not everyone has left, but there's more people leaving than coming in. Yes, declining population in a state or even close to flat is very bad, that means your state is failing.

@gnomechomsky2524 well "everyone" leaving is obviously hyperbolic, something else would have already collapsed before literally every single person moved out of a state. But when your population is declining, that's usually a sign of trouble, especially somewhere like California in the goddamn USA, with several of the most rapidly expanding cities in the world for a long damn time. I am not saying it's a complete failed state just yet, but it's sure as hell on the same path most failed states take.
