This is like a McDonald's employee saying Big Macs are not only delicious, but an essential part of a healthy diet.

The entire internet is a data mining project.

I can't afford a personal trainer, so I just go to the gym and act like I don't know how to work the machines, and a gym bro comes over to give me a hand. Pro gamer tip.

I think leftism is the disease you're suffering from, drug addiction is just a symptom.

There were far less options for people in crisis in the past, and there were far fewer people in crisis. I'm not discouraging people getting the help they need, but if we really want to be honest and productive on a wider scale, we should start asking why people have so many mental health problems in the first place.

@soulknife20 you can't possibly be serious. People used to work far longer hours, at far more dangerous and strenuous jobs. Most people today sit in an air conditioned office and get fatter while they do 15 minutes of actual work in an 8 hour day.

@Michael-jq5pf we live in the safest, most prosperous time in human history. 99.999999% of all the humans that have lived before us had a much harder life, and yet we're the ones that complain the most about how terrible everything is. And be "we" I mean you, and people like you, not me, I'm aware that all the make believe dramatizations of how horrible things are is nothing more than political manipulation. The only part you're right about is that it's a complex issue, there isn't any one easy answer, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to make that assessment.

@mgiantpurplepanda were you on any medications before you had been diagnosed with depression?

I don't think the issue is the therapy, I think it's that leftists are just too defective to ever be fixed.

Just because it worked for you doesn't mean it's an overall good form of therapy. There are plenty of people who have eaten trash their entire lives and are perfectly healthy, through some weird matrix that makes no sense. That doesn't mean eating healthy is a scam.

@mosesoftheblock2311 what do you consider "real" therapy?
1
That's probably smart, data mining is a huge problem, it's everywhere. Of course at the same time, it's not like avoiding online therapy makes any difference. If you've ever been on the internet for absolutely any reason whatsoever, people have your personal information that you never consented to giving.

You can always just leave the leftist cult. That's the first step towards regaining your own mind.
