@carlosjuliop what extreme views on gay people existing openly? The bill you're referring to only states that parents have a right to know what their kids are learning, and that explicit material on sex isn't permitted in certain age groups. That's got nothing to do with whether the teachers are gay or straight. Why are you conflating gay people with child groomers? Seems a little homophobic.

@thrillhouse7867 I don't think you've ever actually listened to DeSantis on his views of these things, I think you just hear out of context sound bytes from far left propaganda outlets like this one. In fact I know that with certainty, unless you're just lying. Because your interpretation of his positions is incorrect. Not a matter of opinion. You're just flat incorrect. Which isn't surprising.

@thrillhouse7867 I stopped reading after your first point because it was so wildly incorrect, DeSantis has never stated any views that are anti gay. If you think being against teachers sexually abusing kids is an exclusively right wing position, that says more about you than anyone else, and if you think that's an anti gay position, that also speaks more to your own character and personal views than anything else. Most gay people are against child abuse too. Pretty much everyone thinks child abuse is bad, except the far left apparently. You're really revealing a lot about yourself here, accidentally.

The opposite is true, people who pay less attention to politics have a much higher tendency to lean left, there's a reason people tend to move more right as they get older and very rarely the other way around. The more you learn about the world, the more conservative you tend to get. Also the same reason the left is constantly pushing for higher voter turnout, because uninformed voters consistently vote left.

@chuksamajor3020 that's true, I'm not trying to pretend like it's as simple as Republican voter = smart, democrat voter = stupid, there's definitely a lot of overlap, but as a general trend, more informed voters tend to vote Republican. And there's mountains of data to back this up too.

@orphaotheseeker2770 but communists just want to replace traditionalism with their own new version of traditionalism, and militarism isn't exclusive either, communists are as extreme on militarism as Nazis and fascists, same with hierarchy, communists just have a different vision of a hierarchal structure. That's what the whole class warfare thing is all about, they're just trying to shake up the existing hierarchy for their owned preferred hierarchy. They fact check things in real time on his show, they just goof off and talk off the cuff a lot too, but when someone makes a claim he has Jamie pull it up and they say the sources right there on the show.
