Garrett Lefler he's a pretty smart guy, there's only a handful of things he really knows a lot about, but he's pretty well rounded in the amount of things he knows a little about. Except sports generally, which is actually really hilarious, he knows a ton about combat sports but as far as baseball or football or basically any other team sport, he's completely clueless.

"Use it to your advantage" perfectly summarizes why politics in America is a shit show, the left only cares about winning, at any and all costs. And most conservatives and libertarians actually care about what's best for the country as a whole. These 2 beliefs can't exist in the same time in the same country without having an extreme amount of turmoil, the right are generally speaking honest people with honest intentions, in the arena of ideas with dishonest people with nefarious intentions.

You can voice an opinion about something and still have the humility to understand your opinion isn't the end all of all opinions. You lefties should try it some time. You might learn something new.

@ramonserna8089 aside from the fact that accurately testing IQ is pretty much impossible, what you're saying is patently false anyway. Education and intelligence are two completely different things, and it's been proven by basically every poll that's ever been taken on the subject that democrat voters are on average far less informed about political issues than republican voters. That's why you're democrat voters. Because you don't know anything. That's why people tend to shift towards republican as they get older and very rarely the other way around.

They always have. No democrat would have ever been president in the history of the country if it weren't for uninformed voters.

@ramonserna8089 also no IQ test is completely accurate, because test taking skills are not the same as intelligence, and any test just by virtue of being a test is going to have some element of the person taking the test and their ability to take tests. Even the people who design IQ tests will readily admit to this. They eliminate as much exterior factors as possible, but they can't eliminate all of it. It's just an estimate. Only low IQ people think IQ tests are completely accurate.

@samsungfanboy Joe's position was just that the state shouldn't force employers to pay employees for paternal leave. You can pay them if you want to, you can not pay them, and if enough people care about that issue enough, then employers that offer paid leave will have a competitive advantage.

It's funny how you don't often hear conservatives gatekeeping and trying to decide who the "real conservatives" are the same way you see it on the left, sure you hear a lot of talk about RINOs, but that doesn't mean that they're leftist or anything like that, it just means they're corporate sell outs that choose political clout over policy or principle at every turn, that's not the same as how leftists claim everyone who disagrees with them isn't really a leftist, or is far right. If I disagree with another conservative I'll just say I disagree with them, I don't feel the need to just assign a position to them and claim they're that thing just because I said so.

@theadorebagwell7187 he was a successful actor, comedian, and semi successful in combat sports, his appeal and likeability across various fields opened the door for him to be the most accomplished commentator in the history of MMA, which opened the door for him to have the most successful podcast in the world. I'm pretty sure he's done some things.

So Joe's position is that the best way to improve your personal life is to take responsibility for your personal life and work your way to a better position. I can see why TMR has a problem with that. And why normal people don't.
