Hicks and rednecks usually know what they're doing when it comes to whatever profession they're in, as well as several other hobbies, and they're also usually more polite people with a better grasp of human nature. Coastal elitists usually don't know anything that wasn't taught to them by an academic, and they act like you should worship them.
