Society was more moderate in general back then, so they had to be a little more sneaky about what they really wanted. But they were tipping the scale slowly further left the entire time.

@DrRasputin2012 there's this movie called "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon", it's about a group of college students who are doing a project about this creep who's obsessed with slasher movies, and says he wants to be a real life Jason Voorhies. And the whole time they're filming this documentary about him, he keeps telling them that they're gonna be his first victims, and they all kinda laugh it off. Then in the 2nd half of the movie, he does exactly what he said he was gonna do, and the kids are still acting surprised. He's just kinda like I literally told you I was going to do this since the first day you were here🤣🤣🤣 that's us right now, we're the students, and the commies are Leslie Vernon.

@TheGoldenCapstone yea I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember thinking it was pretty awesome an original idea. I love the part where he's running on a treadmill and the girl asks him why he does that so much, he's like do you have any idea how hard it is to walk menacingly and still catch up to a girl thats running away from you at top speed? You have to have insane cardio🤣
