  2. Their native habitat is in Florida, primarily in and around sugar canes.

  3.  @RealEngineering  not really, they're the same toads that are indigenous to Florida, it's just that Australia is a completely different ecosystem, the other species there haven't developed an immunity to their toxin, so they have no real predators other than humans, so they can breed and breed and breed and eat everything in their path. Nothing genetically special about them other than being a particularly large species of toad.
