I don't think you understand what that quote means, many people think that freedom is more important than safety, as you can't really ever be completely safe, and freedom is often compromised in the name of perceived safety or security. It's foolish to compromise freedom for security, because you'll end up having neither, but you can have freedom.

  35. Conservative men and women tend to be better looking than leftists, because leftists are pathetic losers that suck at life and have never achieved anything on their own merits. And it's an unfortunate circumstance of the world, but good looking people do tend to get favorable treatment and are more likely to be successful. It's not necessarily right, but it's human nature. Doesn't mean every ugly person is a leftist, but ugly people who give up and accept their fate as losers are leftists.
