I agree with him on most social issues, but he's extremely dishonest with economic issues, like how he's constantly misrepresenting M4A and just pulling theoretical numbers out of his ass and pretending like they're verifiably true. Makes me take the rest of his claims with a grain of salt, I don't think he has the same motivation to lie about issues like censorship, but he definitely doesn't have a problem with lying.

@sadiemakesmesmile he constantly repeats this figure that 200k fewer Americans would have died from covid if we had M4A, (I'm pretty sure that's the number, could be mistake ) as though it's just a solid, concrete fact, when that number is just an estimate, that he presumably got from a person or agency with a vested interest in pushing for M4A. This is extremely dishonest. He needs to present that by saying it's just an estimate or projection. But he doesn't. He's always talking about it as though it's just an easy no brainer with no downside whatsoever, which is extremely dishonest, if it were that simple we would just do it and there wouldn't even be a debate.

He spends several minutes criticizing woke culture and how the left has gone insane, and then starts talking about how Trump was just the worst and he's so glad he's out of office. There's 2 dots on an otherwise blank sheet of paper, and Maher can't connect them.
