There are a lot of kids who barely saw half of people's faces during very important developmental phases of their lives. God knows what kind of emotional toll that's going to take on them going into their teenage and adult years, and the people who demanded it were damn well aware of this. We take that for granted as adults, but kids absolutely have to see the facial expressions of the people around them, it's a very important way that we silently communicate.

For real, this is what I was telling people from day one, if the virus was really that deadly they wouldn't have to make anyone do anything, we all would have just stayed home and laid low.

Am I the only one who remembers that mask madness only started after the George Floyd riots, when people were asking how that's ok after they coerced all the rest of us to stay home and put our lives on hold until the government told us it was safe? Then the media says oh its fine, they're wearing masks (because they always wore masks, to hide their identity)

When did we outsource our own personal health to government authorities? So freaking sad. It wasn't that long ago that our ancestors came to this country with next to nothing, and they figured it out. Those people weren't physiologically different from us, they weren't smarter than us, they weren't more capable than us in any significant way. They were people just like you and me, they had no safety net, no training wheels, no do-overs, and they built the greatest country in the history of the world. And now we're crying about how the government doesn't wipe our noses for us and give us a chewable vitamin before they tuck us in. What the fucking hell.

Yea you really don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand that a microscopic virus doesn't have any trouble getting past a loosely fit piece of paper over your mouth and possibly your nose. Jesus Christ people are stupid.
