  3. ​ @aprescoup that's debatable. The 2 best ideas I've heard are net tax payers only, meaning the amount you pay exceeds the benefits you get through welfare, or signing up for a military draft. I like the 2nd idea better, if our entire voting base was people who are willing to die for their country, they would be pretty damn careful about who they elect, and it would be much more difficult for us to wage wars for profit. The people who would be fighting said wars would be the only ones voting, so good luck with that, war machine.

  5. This is what the left wanted. This was founded as a country that was free, but it was hard. We kept the government small, because we could take care of ourselves. Then too many bleeding heart lefties decided that taking care of ourselves was too hard. This is what you wanted, left. You were just too stupid to realize this is what you would get.
