If people actually cared about "equality" in LGBT rights, then they would welcome people making fun of LGBT people and issues, because everyone gets made fun of sometimes. Ain't equality fun?

The whole issue makes me think of the South Park where Cartman pretends to have Tourette's Syndrome, just so he can say whatever he wants without getting in trouble. And Kyle knows he's faking it, but every time he calls him out he gets accused of being insensitive, and belittling people with Tourette's and other disorders, until he's eventually sent to a "reeducation camp". And the whole time he keeps saying "no, I know it's real, I'm just saying CARTMAN IS FAKING IT".

@ivanajones4843 people identifying as LGBT has increased by 2000% in the last 10 years. There's no rational way you can ascribe that to "societal acceptance", especially considering we've had pretty widespread societal acceptance for LGBT for a lot longer than that.

Funny how the conservative "conspiracy theorists" are always less crazy a few years in the future, when it turns out they were right, yet none of the people who called them crazy ever seem to acknowledge that and learn.

@ashura3313 maybe not should be, but they can be. I generally don't think you should be cruel to people just for the sake of being cruel, but eh, that's part of free speech, I'm not going to throw a fit over it if people do.
