@evilchaperone I have to hear more. If you don't mind, of course. I guess what I'm most curious about is A) what made you buy into the orange man bad propaganda in the first place, and B) what was it that made you break out of it. Feel free to amend the questions if they're not really applicable, or not answer at all if you don't want to. I don't want to come across as pushy or forceful, I'm genuinely curious, because people like you seem to be unicorns.

@evilchaperone yep, welcome to the circus. I'm 38, didn't really pay much attention to politics until my mid 20s, although I guess I was sort of casually involved for my early 20s. I've always been conservative though. And man it's been a trip watching all this slowly unfold over the last 10 years or so. Hard to really pinpoint where it all went to shit. I think the Obama administration is what really tipped things over the edge, and as much as he sucked, I don't really hold him personally responsible for all of it. A lot of it was just stirring the racism pot because of him. I remember his race being used as a shield against any criticism, like if you would say hey what's up with him bombing all those civilians overseas? I thought he was gonna get us outta this shit? Defenders of him would immediately accuse you of racism. We thought that was ridiculous back then. It's gotten so much worse. I can't even imagine what a shock it must have been just diving into all this in 2020, without really seeing the slow burn of how we got here. Also, thanks for your service.

@evilchaperone Democrats did this. This has been their plan for decades and decades, they've told black Americans that nothing is ever their fault, that all of their problems are due to the invisible racism Boogeyman. Pretty much any demographic of people would struggle over a long enough time of that level of enabling, imagine a small scale, some village tells all the people with blue eyes that everyone hates them for their eye color, and the world is gonna hold them back, and it's gonna be harder for them to succeed. Not everyone with blue eyes would buy that shit, some of them would overcome, some would just be really intelligent or talented and find their own way. But if they stumble along the way, they'll just think it's because they have blue eyes. The people with green eyes or brown eyes don't have that excuse in the chamber, they have to just man up and deal with their hardships. So over time, you'll see the people with green and brown eyes succeed more often than the people with blue eyes. And the people with blue eyes will have worse rates of education, more crime, more teen pregnancy, gang activity, all of that. It's disgusting that all of this has been done on purpose, for political power, right under our noses.

@thmsmgnm.4513 especially considering the fed just prints make believe funny money out of thin air for whatever we need for public services and goods. 100% of the taxes we pay go directly into their pockets, and then they stealth tax us on top of that through the inflation caused by them printing make believe funny money.

@strategery101 yea same here. Of course I don't know that many people with TDS in the real world to begin with. I'm sure that's partly due to living in Texas, but I'm in the Houston area, so it's not like I'm in the rural panhandle or anything. I think 90% of the far left TDS weirdos are bots.

@evilchaperone I'm gonna be honest with you though, it doesn't sound like you ever really had TDS though. Sounds like you just didn't pay attention to politics, that's the majority of Democrat voters. TDS are the people who are completely obsessed with Trump, and base 100% of their political views on Trump always being wrong, and anything someone who hates Trump says is always right. Doesn't sound like you were ever that deep in it.
