Yea but everyone should know by now, whenever Chomsky said "everyone", what he really means is "people who agree with me", and the moment he felt like his political faction had any institutional power, he would use it in all of the exact same ways he always complained about the existing status quo using it.

@chriswhited I really can't tell if people are so indoctrinated they really think conservative means racist, and wanting poor people to suffer, or if that's just their dishonest way of shrugging off any real conversation. It's really mind blowing, I don't think any of the people who repeat that propaganda actually know a bunch of gun toting, inbred hillbilly Trumper types, yet they seem to think that's what half of the country is. Maybe they all think it exists somewhere else in the country? I really don't know what they think. But I don't think the entire left political side of the country is a bunch of blue haired Tumblr weirdos, even though that stereotype is actually 100% accurate, those people do exist and are exactly as the stereotype describes them, there just isn't very many of them, not nearly as many as they think they are given their disproportionate online footprint.
