  2. Most people fall for it. Maybe you don't fall for all of it, all the time, but I guarantee there are lies they told that you've completely forgotten about. Same applies to myself too. How many people remember how they only started pushing masks after the BLM riots, and people pointing out the hypocrisy of them pushing lockdowns and supporting riots at the same time? So then their excuse was "it's fine, because they're wearing masks", even though BLM always wore masks, to hide their identity. THAT was the entire reason people went bat shit insane over mask wearing, and some still so. And most people totally forgot, even though they did it right under our noses.

  3.  @briancooper1412  there's also the sneaky little thing where media companies when taken to court can just claim ignorance, essentially admitting that they're terrible journalists that aren't to be taken seriously. The only problem is that we have a very oblivious populace, and the same media company can admit they suck at their job 100 times and still have an audience.
