Whew, that was a close one guys. Nicaraguan propaganda has been something on my radar for quite some time, I'm eternally grateful to the ministry of truth for making our lives safer by not having to see Facebook (sorry, Meta) posts that make me uncomfortable. What would we do without them.

@falconmclenny7284 it's not fascism to hold the NYT to journalistic ethics standards, (ok, poor example, since they're above the law) but hypothetically, if they publish a false or defamatory statement about someone, they could be held liable in court. And it's pretty damn hard to prove someone knowingly lied and wasn't just wrong, but these laws do exist.

@alloomis1635 it is a right, that can only be taken away, not granted. If you're alone on an island you can talk all you want and say whatever you want, that right can only be taken away if someone else comes along and takes it from you.

Except all of the people pushing for globalism are also pushing for the dismantling of capitalism. Because they already have all the capital, they want to usher in a new age where they can sit on it forever, and nobody else has the opportunity to move up in life. And for some reason that only makes sense if you're incredibly stupid, the anti capitalist types all see this but somehow misdiagnose the problem as capitalism. Because... Capitalism bad. Even though the people you think you're fighting are also saying capitalism bad. Yep. It's big brain time.

The left is a cult. The fact that people who have clearly left leaning views but are still being accused of being "right wingers" or even "far right" is a strong indication of that. Those people are seriously not well.

@falconmclenny7284 well that's the point, they don't want to deal with the nightmare of potential lawsuits any time a user says something defamatory about another user. And as much as they've pissed people off in the last several years, I'm sure there are a lot of lawyers that would be itching to take those cases. So the path of least resistance would be for them to just be a platform and let people post what they want.

@gilbertg7 exactly, AT&T isn't going to cut off or suspend your account because of what you said in private conversations. Social media is a little different because they're not just private conversations, but the principle remains the same.

@falconmclenny7284 the only reason it was able to get this bad is because the left supported them while the pretended to be aligned with the left. They knew that the majority of conservatives wouldn't go along with censorship even if it were their political opposition being censored. They used the left as a vessel. And we tried to tell them this for years and years, they wouldn't listen, and they lied, and they gaslit, and they used every other underhanded tactic available because they thought big tech was on their side against those naughty right wingers. Now people are starting to see, it was never like that at all. The political ruling class just wanted more control over our lives. And the left gave it to them.

@falconmclenny7284 they have plausible reasons for their idiotic claims though, first because a lot of right wing content creators do very well on mainstream mediums like YouTube, but that's because of market saturation from the left, there's about a dozen left wing creators for every Ben Shapiro or Stephen Crowder, so naturally the right wingers are going to get more views. Also the people on the right that stay alive have to navigate an extremely ridiculous and nebulous tightrope in order to stay alive. And the other tier is the whole "nothing is left enough" rhetoric, where they say bat shit insane nonsense like democrats are right wing and Republicans are far right. When in reality both Democrats and Republicans are moderate corporatists, democrats being moderate left and Republicans moderate right. You're 100% correct, the idea of social media favoring the right is completely insane, I'm just giving my insight into where that insanity is birthed from.

Holy crap, Pakman and Kulinski videos are insane. You say anything that remotely pushes back against leftist orthodoxy and a dozen people start accusing you of being a bot, and posting how old your account is. Because..... Reasons? And ironically, my account isn't very old because I get yeeted somewhat frequently because of leftists reporting me for wrongthink. I've gone through about 10 accounts since around election time.

@Impassion lmao, it's all part of their programming, if they can dismiss everyone who disagrees with them as a bot, they can continue living in their delusional house of cards, where everyone agrees with them, and the only reason the whole world doesn't live by their ideals is because of some nefarious, all encompassing "them". And somehow, it's also everyone else that's a conspiracy theorist.
