Why would that ever happen? It's a very effective tool for the establishment to shut down dissenters.

@EarthStudent7 exactly, we have a thousand laws on the books that tell "private" businesses how they have to operate, it's laughable to think tech companies should be exempt from that.

@zacharymcmillan2788 people are always going to be judged by the court of public opinion, you can't change that. But we shouldn't jump to throttling someone's livelihood just because of allegations, that only gives a motive for bad actors to launch false allegations.

@88wildcat even then, it's usually not enough. They just say you're guilty and then you're guilty for the rest of your life. The best you can hope for is they attack someone more famous than you, and you get lost in the news cycle.

Crazy how half the movies on streaming services have Harvey Weinstein's name attached in one way or another, and he was actually tried and convicted. They're trying to completely erase Brand from the internet just because of allegations.

@88wildcat no I get what you're saying, I'm only saying once you're on the naughty list, there's no way off. If you're a good boy or girl or make believe gender, and you toe the leftist party line, you're safe, until you're not. But once you're accused, you can't just ask for a do-over and get forgiveness for toeing the line. It doesn't work that way. The only thing cults hate more than non believers are former members, apostates. They never forgive apostates.

@bagavondo2477 newspapers have to operate under certain codes, you can't knowingly publish defamatory information. If youtube wants to pick and choose who they allow on their "platform", then it's not a platform, it's a publisher. And they should be held to the same standard as any other publisher. Goddamnit, this is the same broken record we went over 10 thousand times when Twitter was censoring conservatives. Don't act like you don't remember that, and how every one of your arguments fell flat. Because you and I both know you remember.
