  1. On the proverbial "security vs freedom" survey, you aren't supposed to pick security every time. It's supposed to make you realize that security usually isn't worth giving up freedom, because you can never be truly secure, you can only be more secure. And sometimes the trade off is obvious, like seat belt laws. That's definitely security over freedom, but it's a very reasonable concession, because you're not really giving up any rational freedom by wearing a seatbelt, and you're potentially saving yourself and others from injury or death.

  8.  @DrSpooglemon  it became popularized about 10 years ago, they used it to claim they're "awake" to all the problems that most people deny, like racism and all the other isms. But what they're really doing is just inventing problems that don't exist so they can claim they know how to fix it. To be clear, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, I'm saying all the nonsense leftists label as racism is not racism.
