It reminds me of this movie called "Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon", it's a mocumentary about a group of college students that are making a documentary about a guy who wants to be a real life slasher, like Jason Voorhies or Michael Myers. And the whole time he's telling them they're all gonna be his first victims, and they laugh it off bc they don't take him seriously. And he's just like no seriously, I'm going to kill all of you. And in the 3rd act of the movie he starts killing them🤣🤣🤣 and they're all surprised, like "why are you doing this!?!?!?!" He's just like what are you talking about, I've been telling you I was gonna kill you since we met🤣 The Canadian parliament is Leslie Vernon in this analogy. They've been telling us they're authoritarians for years, and people still think them applauding a Nazi was a "mistake".
