  3. People like Jimmy don't seem to understand the relationship between freedom and responsibility. They say they believe in freedom, because it sounds good, but they also think there should be limitless get out of jail free cards for people who make bad decisions, and people who make good decisions should always have to help them, no matter what. That's not freedom. Freedom means inequity, because people don't make equal choices, and people who make bad choices will have a lower quality of life. If you think that's a horrific premise, then you don't value freedom, you're an egalitarian.
