@umungus518 do you really see no difference in people being forced to work for zero pay, punishable by death if they leave, and people who don't make as much money as they think they should, who could leave at any moment they want free of any risk of bodily harm or legal repercussions? @umungus518 if it were as bad as you say it is, then nobody would work there. Because there are jobs that do offer benefits, and aren't as dangerous. Oh wait. Those jobs don't pay as much. There it is. It's almost like dangerous, more difficult jobs pay more money than easier, safer jobs that require comparable skills and experience. Who knew?

@umungus518 I understand the analogy, it's just an incredibly fallacious and dishonest analogy. You can't compare someone willingly working a job that they're dissatisfied with to someone being sold into slavery. That's completely preposterous.

Won't ever work because most Americans care too much about their team winning. If we get a SocDem party gaining steam, then them and Democrats both would have no chance bc the left wing vote would be split, if a libertarian party gains steam then them and Republicans would have no chance because they would split the right wing vote. Someone has to be willing to concede an election or 2 for the benefit of the whole nation moving forward. That ain't gonna happen.

You're on the internet, mouth farting at strangers, presumably in a climate controlled house or apartment, with clean water and plenty of food. Your life isn't that bad. And most of the things that are bad are your own fault, and things you can improve on yourself if you would shut up and stop complaining for a second, and actually take action.

Not sure if you guys have noticed, but socialism always favors the wealth elite. That's the entire purpose of socialism. They just bill it as "workers rights" and all the rest to manipulate stupid people into supporting their own demise.
