Left wing politicians would never win an election, throughout history and anywhere in the world, without uninvolved and misinformed voters. It's always been this way, since the dawn of civilization, and will always remain this way. The more someone engages in politics and understands politics, the more likely they are to be moderate or right leaning.

Just imagine if the media hadn't all coordinated together to stuff the laptop scandal that they just admitted was all true. That alone could have been enough to change the outcome of the election, and that's just one of numerous real stories that were silenced, along with fake stories that were propped up.

@Phuq Cue and it's understandable if someone who has no experience around horses didn't know what this was, but what's not understandable is how they would just run with a narrative without even attempting to listen to what people who actually know what they're talking about were saying about it.

@Gisli Brynjolfsson lmao, "ask yourself how you became like this", that's an extremely funny way of looking at it. Because it's true, if any of these people had the self awareness to ask a question like that to themselves, I don't think all this political polarization would be nearly as bad. I don't think any young person thinks to themselves "some day, I want to be a political extremist and believe completely insane nonsense just to uphold my shaky worldview!", But here we are. And sometimes you have to ask yourself if they're right, and you're the crazy person. And I do ask myself that sometimes. But then I get called a fascist, or a racist, and remember instantly, oh yea. They're definitely the crazy people.

@Gisli Brynjolfsson yea I mostly agree with what you're saying, I guess you're just more generous than me. Because I really don't think most of them have good intentions. I think they just think left wing politics means more free stuff for them and an easier life without having to actually do anything. Whether or not they're correct in that thinking is a completely different discussion, but that is what they think, and it's really easy to mask that as "just caring about other people". But all it takes is a simple observation of how they act towards people who disagree with them to see that they don't actually care about other people. If that really was where they stood on principle, then they would stand in that position for all people, even people who disagree with them.

@Gisli Brynjolfsson I also used to see the left more like you though, mostly naive young adults that don't really understand the real world, and the difference between idealism and pragmatism, when each is applicable. But after the riots in 2020, it should be clear who they really are. These are people who would support gas chambers if a compelling enough argument were made by the people they follow.

They're shifting the narrative away from whether or not the border guard was hitting anyone at all and onto what kind of physical tools they had at their disposal. That just makes people assume that they must have been striking people with whatever tools it is that they had. They're not confirming or denying that anyone was being struck in the first place. They're just changing the argument to be about what they had in the first place. They know their target audience is complete morons that can't even comprehend the concept of subtle language.

@MegaPOOHPOO not really, at least not to the same extent. Right leaning people tend to be politically engaged all the time. Left wing people only engage when democrats run propaganda campaigns. How many people never even paid attention to politics at all before 2016, and suddenly were all aboard the Orange Man Bad train? Don't even try to act like this is a "both sides are bad" problem, you and I both know this is a left problem, almost exclusively.

MSM knew they got caught in an obvious lie, so instead of just admitting that they lied, they tried to shift the narrative to "ok, so they weren't technically using whips, but does the name of the tool really matter?" To manipulate stupid people even further. Notice how they still didn't acknowledge that nobody was actually being struck, by any implement? They just started playing semantic games over the name of the implement, to make you think that it was a forgone conclusion that people were being hit. Which they weren't. Congratulations. @l.w.paradis2108 and if you ask a conservative or a moderate about the far right, you'll get a nearly unanimous response that they do exist and that extremism is always a problem, regardless of what side they're on or how large or small it is in scope. But if you ask a leftist about the far left, you'll get mixed responses ranging from deflecting to the far right, running cover and downplaying the far left or justifying them, or denying their existence all together. This tells any rational person that there's a much more prominent far left problem than there is a far right problem.

@vikingdave8225 I work at a kennel, and one of our regular customers was pregnant so she set up an appointment for her dogs whenever she went into labor, except she didn't know when she was going into labor. So we just left an open appointment for her and we would have that unit ready whenever they needed it. I guess you could call her dogs during that span "open boarders". 🤣
