  2. Yea it's weird as hell, it's not something you should need to advertise. "Hey, I could go for a taco", "hey, I do need a new car some time soon", "hey, I've never been to that restaurant, that looks good" are all reasonable reactions to an advertisement. "Hey, I do have diabetes, I guess I should probably get on that some day" is not a reasonable reaction. You would be dead.

  4. That would could only exist if we were able to somehow delete or override everything that makes us human. That's why leftism is silly and childish, every leftist policy hinges on what things would be like if people did the right thing, that's not reality though, sometimes people do the wrong thing. That's why grown ups understand we have to set up systems that take that into account, and do the best we can to give incentives to good behavior, and discourage bad behavior.

That's some high level cognitive dissonance, to be so tuned in to how corrupt pharmaceudical companies, insurance companies, and the government as a whole are, and still think they should be in charge of our healthcare, just because he's been emotionally manipulated into thinking anything else means he "doesn't care".
