@mobaby1979 no. It seems like solving a problem with more of a problem. You should step aside and let adults make the decisions again. Just try it. Progressivism isn't working, is it? So the worst that can happen is you step aside and let adults make decisions, and things continue to suck. It's better than things progressively getting worse because of progressivism.

@andrewkowalow3794 punctuation is your friend. It'll help get around that "I'm a raving lunatic" vibe you're giving off.

I too, support more foreign wars, because it's the new thing, and the TV people told me Russia is bad and I'm a racist if I don't stand with Ukraine.

I'm so tired of the "we could end homelessness" argument anyway, it's so stupid, no, no you cannot end homelessness, not with all of the money in the world. The only way to even hypothetically end homelessness is to change human nature, because ultimately you can't always save people from themselves. What we can do is reduce homelessness and create and provide better programs for the homeless, but one thing that's for damn sure is that just simply giving people money or anything else doesn't help anything in the long run, just look at San Francisco and other progressive cities that are overrun with homeless camps. Giving people free stuff is the primary reason for the problem in the first place.

Healthcare can be 3 things, but not all 3 at once, it can be affordable, it can be readily accessible, and it can be high quality. But you have to pick 2. You can't have all 3. Any attempt to have all 3 will result in having none. Right now, US healthcare is easily accessible and high quality, but it's not cheap. You have to sacrifice one of those other things if you want it to be cheap.

@irocksup123 people come from all over the world to have procedures done in the US.

@brocklanders9259 yes. Because it's readily available and high quality, like I said before.

@AlbertaFreeThinker hooray, new thing! I can't wait until the next thing, so I can completely forget about Ukrainia. Err, Ukranikstan. Oh, you know, the thing!

I've been trying to tell leftists this for years and years now, and it's not just healthcare, it's practically everything they ever advocate for. They hate the government as much as any normal person, but their solution to every problem is more government.

@americaisdyingslowly it's hard to even follow what the numbnuts is saying, it looks like it should be written in crayon all over the wallpaper of a trashed house.

@bretts3057 plenty of other points of view are completely valid and deserve a platform. Progressivism is not one of them. That point of view should be tossed in the proverbial "stupid idea" dumpster and set on fire. No current progressive has ever had a good idea, about anything.

There's no reason for the government to ever enforce a lockdown, if there was a virus that was really so deadly that leaving the house was a significant risk to your life, then you don't have to tell people to stay home, they're not going to want to leave home. That's when you just roll out some kind of economic recovery plan for people who can't go about their daily life. But enforcing some kind of lockdown or quarantine by government decree? No, that's insanity, the fact that we even entertained that idea shows how complacent and defanged the average American has become.
