@goldbud2287 one city. Although I have a feeling the total number in Illinois wouldn't be that much greater than Chicago alone, you have to figure the overwhelming majority of cases are happening there.

Here's a hot take - child abuse is horrible, no matter who it's coming from.

Even if we were taking this story at face value, the left using it to justify their abuse of kids isn't as much of a "gotcha" as they think it is. If your best argument is "see! He's doing it too!!!" You need to rethink some things.

@The_JohnnieWalker and the left defends and encourages abuse in school. I don't know of any Catholics or conservatives that think the abuse in the church is ok, everyone has a problem with it. The priests just have an unjust level of power. Also worth noting, catholicism is easily the most "progressive" of all the modern churches. I'm willing to bet if you could see the voting records of the priests who are abusing kids, you would see a whole lot of D's (pun intended), and many of them are probably also very charitable donors to the DNC.

@drirene57 sounds a lot like how they acted like Jan 6th was the worst thing that's ever happened in history, while ignoring 670 left wing riots in a single year, and downplaying or even defending them when they were forced to address it.

@Caigga900 given the frequency over such a short amount of time, I would say the public school situation is more severe. And the left is actively covering for and defending child abuse in school.
