@maryhalverson5713 he's just too optimistic. He wants to like everyone, and have a nice conversation. It often clouds his judgement. People forget that he never sought out being a political voice, it just kinda fell in his lap because of how many high profile people have been on his podcast. The political world is still pretty foreign to him, he still doesn't quite understand how cutthroat and merciless a lot of people are when it comes to pushing their agenda.
