Everyone immediately picking a team and acting like they have all this situation figured out is being taken for a ride. We're getting hit by propaganda by all sides.

@chrish4457 anyone driven by ideology will have to compromise either ideology or truth at one time or another. So by definition, no, ideologically driven media is not honest media. If you have to lie to further your ideology, you should probably take a step back and reexamine your ideology.

You can't point to a time in history where the people trying to control what other people could say and hear were "the good guys".

@chrish4457 if the truth interferes with their anti imperialist agenda, they'll be dishonest.

@chrish4457 it means you shouldn't trust any of them in blind faith though, you should look at the facts first and the source second. No source is always right, or always wrong, (although some, like CNN, are pretty much always wrong). Even if it's not through malicious intent, sometimes they're just wrong. By prioritizing your own agenda first, you're standing there with your pants down just inviting fake news in. And as long as it backs up your ideology, you won't even think twice about it. How can you even be sure of your ideology when you think that way?

@chrish4457 listen to yourself, you're unironically saying that you trust news sources that prioritize ideology over truth. And also that they're not dishonest. Come on dude, that's some serious levels of delusion.

Wait till you find out about everything else the left has lied to you about.

@BurntheKremlin966 that sounds like it could be a pretty sweet straight to VOD movie. Maybe throw something about vampires or zombies in though.

@studiobauhaus7740 you're intentionally misrepresenting what I said and also accidentally agreeing with me in part. I didn't say you should never trust anyone, I said that you shouldn't trust a news source (blindly), meaning that your judgement shouldn't be based on who's speaking, but rather on what they're saying and whether or not you can verify it. And you're also accidentally proving my initial point right by believing what you're hearing from one side, sure, I think everyone is aware of that narrative coming from Russia, but that's just one of the narratives about all of this. You don't know that it's true.
