  2. People forget that you can have a choke "position" without actually squeezing, it happens a lot in MMA, when they're battling for hand positioning. Chokes can look really bad but really be nothing. And I'm aware that some cracked out homeless guy probably doesn't have the best grappling defense, but Penny probably was just holding him for most of the time, but Neely kept struggling and presenting a threat. If he was really trying to kill him, it wouldn't have lasted several minutes, it would have been a minute or less.
