I'll never understand these people who believe every negative story about Trump, without an ounce of scrutiny, and when presented with anything contrary will demand an unreasonable amount of proof to even consider they could be wrong. Completely ideologically captured.

@strategery101 and I'll never understand being passionate to the point of viciously attacking people over something I don't know anything about. If someone starts telling me all about some ballet or ballet dancer and has a super passionate opinion about it, I'm gonna say sure buddy, whatever you say. Because I don't care about ballet and I don't know anything about ballet. I've never understood why politics is different, why can't people who don't care just stay out of it and stop pretending like they know something?

@strategery101 thankfully not my direct family, we're all normal people to an extent, but I know a lot of other people through work and friends of friends and that kind of stuff that have had their brain eaten by TDS worms. One of my coworkers' dad died last year, and he refused to see any of his family that supported Trump, even as he was dying.

@erikaw7767 true, when you've invested so much time and effort into a lie, you're beyond the point of just accepting that you were wrong and moving on with your life. They're completely obsessed, hating Trump has consumed their entire life. Admitting they were wrong would be admitting their life is a lie.

@seattleboatdetailingmobile1926 I've had people actually get mad at me for showing them the real clip of the selectively edited sound bytes CNN repeats all day. Most notably the "very fine people" shit. They're actually mad, at me, just for showing them what Trump really said.

@elliotblessings8270 and when you look at most of the legitimate criticisms of Trump, what are they? He's rude? He's a shady businessman? So what? Those don't rank very high for me in terms of what I look for in a President. You can even make the argument that his shady business practices are a good thing for being the President, it definitely comes in handy to have someone who knows how to navigate the legal system of business and knows what he can get away with. I don't hate him for exploiting all the ridiculous business regulations we have, I hate the ridiculous regulations. We need to get back to more of a free market economy.

@chetdudeweb707 it's really not the same at all though, or even comparable. Even the nuttiest Trump sycophants are closer to reality than the TDS cult.
