So apparently paying taxes isn't mandated, you just have the option of being audited if you don't.

@umiluv I'm technically pro choice, because I don't believe in a sweeping federal ban, and think it should be left at a state level, with the only federal law being that no tax funding should be spent on abortions. But I find abortion reprehensible (except in exceptional cases, such as severe medical risks to the mother), and the unbelievable hypocrisy from a lot of the pro choice crowd is definitely pushing me further towards pro life. The libertarian in me just isn't a big fan of telling people what to do, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

@umiluv it's not just their hypocrisy in general though, it's just from engaging in the abortion debate so much for so long. The pro life argument is simple, abortion is murder, murder is wrong. That's it. Now whether or not you agree with the presupposition of murder being the same as abortion is subjective, that's where the argument becomes more complicated. But it's the pro life side that has to get into the nitty gritty spider web of different standards for different things. And I'm not saying that the debate isn't complicated, just that one side of the argument is far less complicated than the other. Kinda makes it hard for me to fully disagree with them.
