This is why the "it would cost too much money" argument against mass deportation was so infuriating to me, sure, it would cost a lot of money, but them being here in the first place costs a lot of money. I'm open to more cost effective solutions, but just saying screw it, let them stay is not a solution to anything.

@clutchboi4038 personally, I thought the first thing we should do is to just crack down on government assistance, really scrutinize all that and make sure recipients are all legal citizens. A lot of people would just leave on their own. That would have been really helpful. Then we could start with deportations. But what do I know, seems like what they're doing now has been effective so far.
