@arcarsenal1380 I think our justice should be applied fairly, and without bias. If you think Trump should face consequences for "improper bookkeeping", then I sure as hell hope you would extend the same scrutiny to 99% of the rest of our ruling class, who have been doing far worse than that for decades.

@number3stunner118 it's not even about Trump at this point, it's about whether or not you support a justice system that releases violent criminals due to bleeding heart left wing soft on crime policies, and also goes after a probable presidential candidate for trumped up tax bullshit laws that 99% of the rest of our government regularly violates. Your personal opinion about Trump should have absolutely nothing to do with your opinion on the greater implications.

@arcarsenal1380 our sitting President extorted a former government (Ukraine) to protect his son from criminal prosecution, which has snowballed into him having compromised interests in a foreign war. You can't honestly tell me his primary political rival being indicted for misdemeanor charges that typically result in probation, if anything at all, is anything other than politically motivated persecution. You can say it, but we both know you're lying.

@goatfightshop3769 yep. They're too stupid to understand that a government that can arrest political opposition they don't like can also arrest political opposition they do like. And once that flood gate opens, the political faction that takes power is going to be a faction that none of the people like. But that doesn't matter anymore, because the stupid people in our society have already handed them absolute power.

They can just rig the election again, and they have a rabid base of psychotic cult members that will do anything they say, including murder. They don't give a shit about how many Americans disagree with them and aren't buying their shit anymore, they have what they need for a hostile takeover. In short, we're screwed.

@goldbud2287 yep. They let off the gas because they didn't think Trump could win anyway, they thought "hey, we could actually get our preferred candidate in the real way this time, let's do that and people will think our elections are legitimate again!"
