@knoelle1357 and she didn't involve herself as much as Obama or Clinton, the way it should be. The first lady is supposed to be diplomatic and welcoming, it's not her job to take sides and get into the weeds, that's the President's job. Go read to kids in school, do puff piece interviews on daytime talk shows, smile and wave. Melania could have been excellent at that if she had the chance, I've always thought she was very well spoken and comes across as a nice woman.

It's hard to imagine conservatives acting like that if it were Biden or Harris, of course there's gonna be some trolls and edgy bois on the internet trying to get a reaction, but mainstream conservatives and libertarians would never celebrate something like that. I really can't find a single lefty that will say it was awful, with no qualifier. They're either outright clapping and cheering for it, lamenting that he missed, or coming up with insane conspiracy theories about it being fake or staged by Trump. True derangement.

@postmodernmining that was kind of my point, I'm aware of her engagement while First Lady, but how many Americans are? The difference between mainstream media's coverage of Michelle Obama and Melania Trump is night and day.

It's really unbelievable how little media coverage the attempt has gotten, if there's a single example of how corrupt and evil mainstream media and the Democrat establishment are, it's the fact that they're still talking about Jan6 and Charlottesville more than the attempt on Trump.

Hillary and Michelle Obama broke that precedent, it was supposed to be the unspoken rule that you leave the kids and first lady out of it, no matter how much you dislike the President. But they both asserted themselves as political figures in their own, and not just the President's wife.

@SugaryCoyote which is absurd and hilarious, it shows they not only have no principles, and only pretend to care about immigrants to help in elections, and that they either don't understand or refuse to acknowledge the difference between legal and illegal immigrants.
