  2. Yes, he wants to lose. Do you democrat voters seriously not get it yet? The DNC always pays someone (usually Bernie) to rope in young and uninitiated voters by promising them a bunch of free shit, then they drop out late in the race, and all the young idiots that didn't care about politics a year ago vote for whatever establishment corporate democrat is chosen, because why not? They already spent all the time and energy getting all riled up about politics for the first time.
