The only major nominee that I saw was Conclave, and I didn't think it was that great.

Dude Tony Todd was an absolute legend, him and Rickey Henderson were the worst celebrity deaths of the last year for me. He became a sort of stamp of approval for horror movies, if he wanted to be in your movie, you made it. And he was always great, even if it was just a 30 second cameo. From everything I've heard from other actors he was an awesome dude too, which was actually kind of unsettling, because you have this big intimidating man who gave you nightmares when you were a kid, and he's super polite and fun to be around🤣

@diqweed69 he probably was quasi black listed for his politics, he was in some big movies but mostly horror movies, that's not really that mainstream, at least it wasn't in the 90s. And a lot of his work was just cameos. It sure as hell wasn't because of his talent, because he was incredible. He probably didn't get into the right circles, because he wasn't a creep.

Jack and Jill🤣 but even that is probably a tuned up, cartoonish version of himself. And it was pretty much the only good thing about that movie.

@CacheCropp And DeNiro is basically the same character, or a slight variation of the same character, in more than half of his movies. I like them both, professionally speaking, I think they've both been in a lot of great movies, but Pacino is definitely the more talented actor with more range. And Bobby is totally nuts, you're correct about that too.

@diqweed69 funny how there's some consistencies, he was also really famous but in a sort of niche way, he never really starred in a lot big movies, he was also well respected by other co-stars. Those are the consistencies with actors who were quasi black listed for their politics, Dean Cain comes to mind too.
